Nutritional Services

Loretto Hospital’s Nutritional Services Department provides food service and caters to the dietary needs of our hospital patients, employees, and visitors. In addition, the staff of clinical dietitians performs extensive clinical nutrition services. 

Clinical nutrition services include the following: assessment and care-planning for critically ill patients, instructing inpatients on diet modification, and provide additional appropriate education.  Outpatient nutrition counseling is also available.

Cafeteria 
The hospital cafeteria provides meal service to employees and visitors. It is located on the lower level and the hours of service are as follows: 
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., seven days a week 
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., seven days a week 
Dinner: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., seven days a week

The hospital also has several vending machines available in the cafeteria; you have the option of choosing hot and cold beverages, snacks, and sandwiches. Another vending machine can be found in the Flournoy Lobby located outside the Emergency Department.
